Maternal Vitality Study- For Women/Mothers

Thank you for your interest in the Black Maternal Vitality Research Study! We intend to develop a research-based protocol to treat depression, anxiety and stress in pregnant African American mothers (or women who have been pregnant in the last 12 months) in the Greater Cleveland Area. Mental health is a primary contributor to the current Black maternal and infant mortality crisis in the U.S. Through screenings targeting maternal depression and anxiety, as well as personal interviews, we hope to empower Black mothers with more than just survival by equipping them with the resources to thrive mentally and physically.
Please complete this initial screening form to help us learn if you might be eligible for the study. Add any additional comments, feedback and suggestions below as needed. For questions, please email research@ohioguidestone.org or call (440) 260-8865 (option 5). Thank you for your interest!
